To begin with, while speaking with their client, Felix and Fingers found out they were being hired for a VIP event. In fact, The Tea Room wedding gala was as star-studded and glitzy as you can imagine. The groom is a Major League pitcher for the Washington Nationals (World Series Champion 2019). The bride and groom summoned Felix and Fingers from the bullpen to perform at their reception in Des Moines, Iowa. Our performers for The Tea Room wedding gala were Robert Deason and Chris Heroldt. Representing Felix and Fingers at The Tea Room wedding gala were our very own Robert Deason and Chris Heroldt. We LOVED performing in a fancy room on a high stage. Our performers thought this layout gave live piano instrumentals a classy feel. Therefore, Felix and Fingers made cocktail hour a magical moment. Robert and Chris enjoyed playing forever and contemporary classics to the back-light of a neon-sign decorated ivy wall. As guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeurves and signature drinks, we played songs such as Stubborn Love by the Lumineers. When we kicked into Papa Loves Mambo by Perry Como everyone flooded the dance floor. With drinks in hand, this fun-loving crowd had a BLAST showing off their great Mambo moves. It was AWESOME!
A Super Fun VIP Wedding Party
The Tea Room wedding gala served an AMAZING dinner. Much to their delight, guests dined on chef inspired cuisine paired perfectly with fine wines. Dessert was out of this world. As a matter of fact, there was a DESSERT WALL. This “wall” offered hand pies, chocolate soufflés and cupcakes! Felix and Fingers are not shy to say these desserts were ALL delicious!
Robert and Chris loved throwing humor into the night with a few baseball jokes. In fact, our audience had a GREAT LAUGH! Furthermore, guests enjoyed a cheerful competitive sing-off. Our performers brought Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen to the table and our crowd had a BLAST singing a the top of their lungs! Did you know it’s not very easy performing The Twist by Chubby Checkers in formal wear, but our audience delivered! Above all, Jeremy and Natalie knocked The Tea Room wedding gala out of the park with late night snacks. Not only did the bride and groom have pizza catered in, but it was from Casey’s Pizza, the best pizza in Iowa hands down!
