Felix and Fingers had a wonderful time at the Vernon Hills Park District Holiday Fling. T. Duncan Parker and Robert Deason had a blast performing. We know their employees feel appreciated! Felix and Fingers hope everyone had a festive evening.

Vernon Hills Park District Holiday Fling was an employee appreciation event. Indeed, Vernon Hills Park District utilized their Sullivan Community Center for the party. As a matter of fact, Sullivan Community Center underwent renovations in 2017. First and foremost, an inviting customer service desk sits front and center at the new entrance. Additionally, the facility now boasts two gymnasiums, recreation and administrative staff offices, and Board Room. Also, a new secure Little Learners Preschool wing. The District’s dance studio and community room, with a stage, are also present in the facility. It’s the perfect facility for all your needs. Fabulous Fun Fling
Felix and Fingers enjoyed playing this gig. Also, this was the second year in a row performing for Vernon Hills Park District. Indeed, twice the fun! We DJ’d during cocktail hour. Christmas music wafted through the air during dinner. In fact, Maggianos catered dinner. Yum! You can’t beat delicious Italian food.
Felix and Fingers pumped up the volume after dinner. We had guest players on guitar and drums. A full band for the night! This crowd danced the night away. We played 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s tunes. For example, I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor got everyone singing along. We threw in Barracuda by Heart, and Whoomp! There It Is by Tag Team. Half way through the evening, we stopped playing to help with a raffle. They gave away gift cards, movie tickets, and other amazing prizes. It was so much fun! We closed out the evening with Piano Man by Billy Joel. On the whole, a fabulous fun fling!
