Kathleen’s Garden is the perfect location for you next special day. As a matter of fact, this is not your average rustic barn. In addition to stunning gardens, there are stately and impressive grandfather oaks. There was even a creek winding through this gorgeous property!
From the moment Felix and Fingers entered Kathleen’s Garden wedding event, we felt as though we stepped inside a fairy-tale. Marci was an AMAZING event coordinator. The bride and groom chose to exchange vows in the woods adjacent to the venue. Kathleen’s Garden provided the perfect rustic design for a stunning setting. Our performers, Brandon Parsons and Nate Rodriguez, played a variety of background jazz as the bride and groom exchanged vows. A romantic moment indeed! A highlight of the ceremony was our performers having everyone singing along to This Kiss by Faith Hill. A FUN recessional song. Everyone LOVED IT!
Wedding Painters and Inside Jokes
Cocktail hour was peaceful and relaxed. Our performers played songs such as Honey Bee by Blake Shelton as guests took a spin on the floor. On the other hand, twinkling lights, tons of candles and flower filled mason jars set a romantic ambiance. To tell the truth, it was breathtaking.
Kelly and Gregory were fun-loving leaders of the party all night long. The first song we played after a delicious dinner was Lucky by Jason Mraz. We started an elimination dance with couples from a year to 35 years of marriage. The crowd thinned quickly and everyone gave the longest married couple a clapping ovation!
Gregory’s bachelor party was at a karaoke bar and they sang Take Me Home, Country Road by John Denver. Because this was an inside joke with the wedding party, we played the song several times during the night. The wedding party LOVED IT! Tons of laughter and singing with this popular hit. Above all, the bride and groom hired a painter instead of a videographer to capture their special day. We thought this was unique and classy. A highlight of the evening was when we played Can’t Stop the Feeling by Justin Timberlake. Even grandma got up and busted some moves!
