Felix and Fingers had a BLAST helping raise money for the JOURNEYS fundraiser gala. Our performers, Robert Deason and Michael Sherman, headed out to Cotillion Banquets located in Palatine, Illinois and played a successful Bid for Hope dueling piano show. This is Felix and Fingers 2nd of 3 shows for our client! We played their daughter’s wedding last year, this fundraiser gala AND we’ll be playing their son’s wedding next fall!

The JOURNEYS fundraiser gala is an annual event held by JOURNEYS | The Road Home. This is a non-profit agency that provides both shelter and social services to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in 37 towns in north/northwest suburban Cook County. Felix and Fingers were PROUD to help raise a TON of money for this amazing cause!
Live Auctions and Happy Crowds
There were some awesome live auctions items including a 50cc scooter that even our players thought about bidding on. Felix and Fingers kept the crowd happy and engaged in bidding with songs such as Thunderstruck by AC/DC. And because fundraising is so sweet, Sugar by Maroon 5 was a HIT. Robert and Michael helped MC the wine pull. Because of this help, all the bottles sold within the first 5 minutes!
After a delicious dinner, our performers knocked out an amazing show. Robert and Michael also donated 100% of their tips back to JOURNEYS fundraiser gala. Our client was ECSTATIC! Above all, 60’s and 70’s music was the hit on the dance floor. Everyone stayed after dinner to continue in the fun by dancing and singing. That’s the beauty of our Felix and Fingers show!
