To start with, this was one of the most unique ceremonies Felix and Fingers have ever experienced. For instance, there was a covered, open-air chapel overlooking a lake in a gorgeous hilly area of Texas. We thought that was amazing. Our performers played light background music as the bride and groom exchanged vows. For their recessional song, Tim and Heather played a fun and upbeat All You Need is Love by the Beatles. We had everyone clapping and singing!
Beautiful Memories and Special Moments
The Grand Ivory wedding event was a perfectly unforgettable celebration. Guests enjoyed a relaxed yet sophisticated cocktail hour as our performers played light jazz and crowd favorites. Many of the attendees were in fact from Boston and Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond was THEIR song. Therefore, Felix and Fingers received a HUGE response of singing and dancing to this tune from our audience. They LOVED it!
As we played dinner, a guest requested Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. In fact, when our players hit the first notes of this song, a ton of couples stopped dining and flooded the dance floor. The groom’s cake was jaw dropping. This amazing creation portrayed a stack of Stephen King books! We kept the dance floor packed all night long. Song requests such as Hero by Enrique Iglesias had everyone singing out loud. On the other hand, classics such as Old Time Rock n Roll by Bob Seger were a HIT! Above all, Truth Hurts by Lizzo was a true request that had EVERYONE singing at the top of their lungs. It was AWESOME!

A shout out to the Grand Ivory staff for their friendly and helpful diligence. An audience member spilled some of his drink on the dance floor during We Are Family by Sister Sledge. Therefore, napkins were quickly handed out and everyone proceeded to do an interpretive dance while wiping up the toppled cocktail.
