Felix and Fingers performed an AMAZING show for a fun loving audience at The Bridge Building surprise birthday party. Our guest of honor, Kim, was turning 50! To begin with, The Bridge Building surprise birthday party was SUPER FUN. Kim was 101% SURPRISED! In fact, The Bridge Building’s event staff went out of their way to make this dream party happen. As guests enjoyed signature drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the first level, our performers played songs such as Lucky by Jason Mraz. The fact we have a wireless PA system made it possible for everyone to enjoy our show during cocktail hour!
Special Dances and Delicious Cake
The Bridge Building’s in-house culinary team worked tirelessly creating a handcrafted mouthwatering dinner. Felix and Fingers played light background jazz as guests enjoyed delicious high quality food with THE BEST dining experience in Nashville. So, you know the saying “Whatever happens in Nashville stays in Nashville” right? Well, when it was time to get the party on, the audience brought our performers some WILD requests!
Although it was Nashville, this crowd wasn’t searching for too much country. Everyone seemed to lean towards oldies and classic material. But the few who requested rap music really burned up the floor. Felix and Fingers made Eminem proud burning up their keys with the song Lose Yourself. Everyone went wild!
As the evening progressed, we performed a special dance for a lovely couple. Layla by Eric Clapton was played for Jason and…..Layla. The crowd LOVED it! We finished our gig with Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars. This song went over EXTREMELY WELL. We were HAPPY we PACKED the floor with the older, less dance oriented crowd. To tell the truth, they had a BLAST!
