To begin with, a loft/warehouse venue such as The Haight is THE IDEAL blank slate location offering complete transformation for your special day. The Haight is less than a mile from the metra station and surrounded by a gorgeous historical district. Feel like a winner? The Grand Victoria Casino is nearby for slots and tables galore.
The Haight offers two floor spaces. The first floor consists of 2,000 square feet and is the perfect setting for cocktail hour of up to 175 of your guests. The second floor boasts 7,000 square feet with amazing architectural elements and a large dance floor all in a historic 1890’s building. Felix and Fingers LOVED the short but sweet ceremony! In fact, this may have been the shortest exchange of vows we’ve ever witnessed. Even with an included wine tradition, we think it took all of 8 minutes! The decor was amazing, they customized their backdrop with a geometric centerpiece covered in beautiful greenery. It was SO COOL!
After a speedy ceremony, it was clear The Haight elegant wedding event couple was ready to get to the good stuff and party. Therefore, cocktail hour bolstered passed bites with a few stations from a display of amazing preferred vendors. As for the spirits, a full bar with champagne, wine and signature cocktails were enjoyed by all. Felix and Fingers helped carve out a front-and-center spot for the dance floor opening it up for an hour of festivities.
Fantastic Family Entertainment
Our performers played live jazz and pop tunes in the background with the help of an additional drummer who was spot on and super nice. It wasn’t long before the requests came pouring in and we played songs such as Honey Bee by Blake Shelton. There was fantastic family entertainment as the bride’s brother sang their first dance while playing an acoustic guitar. This talented family member didn’t stop there and wowed the crowd by by accompanying us with our first band set song. He was AMAZING!
Italian cuisine was on the menu from start to finish. Instrumental jazz was played as chicken parmigiana, homemade pasta and delicious veggies left guests happy with their meal. Furthermore, there was an incredible assorted cannoli table for dessert. We may have visited this table twice!
Since everyone at this gig wanted to PARTY this event ran at a faster clip than most receptions. Without doubt, there were some IMPRESSIVE dancers at the The Haight elegant wedding event. There was a ton of laughing, dancing and singing all with the help of impromptu migration to the bar. Above all, the guests at this party GOT DOWN with a PACKED dance floor all night long.
Our performers worked double time making sure everyone heard their fun requests. Songs such as Don’t Stop Believin by Journey had guests unify and belt out the words with wild hand gestures. Above all, Tipsy by J-Kwon really brought the WILD out as some guests twerked upside down on the walls! To be honest, it was pretty INTENSE for a Sunday wedding. SO MUCH FUN!!!
