When most people think of weddings, they probably think of an afternoon ceremony followed by a night of partying. The Meson Sabika wedding event was an alternative to the traditional evening reception. Our performers for this beautiful morning wedding were Robert Deason and Chris Heroldt. Felix and Fingers drove out to downtown Naperville, Illinois to help celebrate this sophisticated sunrise affair. To begin with, Meson Sabika’s restaurant is housed in a mansion built in 1847, nestled into a stunning 4-acre estate. Holding a morning ceremony in such a beautiful place as Meson Sabika provided unbeatable lighting allowing for stunning views. Felix and Fingers performed live instrumental music in the Pavilion (separated from the restaurant) during a lovely exchange of vows. During this time guests viewed lush landscaping from three sided towering windows. A sophisticated wedding ceremony indeed.
Guests savored cocktail hour in the reserved first floor of this Mediterranean style mansion. To tell the truth, the Meson Sabika wedding event was the unsung hero of morning weddings with top notch Bloody Mary’s and delicious Mimosas. Felix and Fingers quickly brought guests to the dance floor enjoying songs such as Don’t Know Why by Norah Jones and Sunday Morning by Maroon 5. In all honesty, this was one classy party!
Funny Speech Dance Party
Daytime celebrations such as the Meson Sabika wedding event allowed for a relaxed yet elegant low profile gathering. During a mouthwatering tapas style brunch buffet, guests dined on dishes such as Cazuela de Pollo and Salmón Curado. Felix and Fingers loved being the musical structure of this event. As the groom gave a funny speech about the bride and her brother constantly “Ding Dong Ditching” him while they were dating, we played song requests such as Happy Bee by Kevin MacLeod. Not only was the food outstanding, but the vibe was AMAZING!
Want to know what really gets a morning party started? Super Bass by Nicki Minaj had the dance floor packed within minutes. Guests were having a BLAST showing off moves to songs such as Yeah! by Usher and Electric Boogie by Marcia Griffiths. On the other hand, our performers had guests singing and swaying to songs such as Somebody to Love by Queen. Above all, nothing makes Felix and Fingers more HAPPY than a successful show!
In conclusion, as the Meson Sabika wedding event wrapped up, guests stopped by telling us what a fabulous time they had. This made us feel great hearing everyone was leaving in good spirits. Another successful gig in the books for Felix and Fingers at an AMAZING venue!
