Wineries make for unforgettable wedding venues. The Sycamore Winery wedding event is located in West Terre Haute, Indiana and was an amazing fusion of rustic elegance. Sycamore Winery Wedding Event West Terre Haute
Vineyards bring a sense of relaxation, laughter and sophistication that you and your guests can’t help but notice at your wedding. The Sycamore Winery is an all-inclusive event venue that also offers design services and event coordination. Speaking of event coordination, Peyton was an amazing venue manager and coordinator. Peyton also made sure that photos, introductions and speeches were all in place. Furthermore, this winery has a space that is extremely well-suited for weddings. An immaculate dining and dancing hall is located on one side of the venue, while the buffet and bar are at the other. The Sycamore Winery wedding event was certainly more of an “Americana” and “low-key country” type of celebration. Our performers for this romantic gathering were Will O’Keefe and Jim Gritschke. Felix and Fingers performed for Sunny and Adam a year ago. We felt personally humbled to be a part of their joyous celebration. Sunny and Adam’s ceremony was a great balance of elegance and simplicity. Felix and Fingers played a wonderful array of instrumental songs during the couple’s romantic exchange of vows. Instead of traditional recession music, Sunny and Adam requested I Like It, I Love It by Tim McGraw. We had the whole room singing as the lovebirds danced down the aisle!
Delicious Wine and Familiar Faces
Not only are first dances impressionable, but they leave lasting and beautiful memories for years to come. Jim Gritschke crushed Sunny’s advance first dance request of The Ballad of Curtis Lowe by Lynyrd Skynryd. Sunny has a beautiful photo of her and her father dancing to it. When it was time to feast, dinner was amazing. Sunny and Andy had a great idea serving small plates paired with wine for guests to savor the vineyard experience. Felix and Fingers kept the ambiance with requested songs such as Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran and Don’t Know Why by Norah Jones. These songs can actually bring people together and spark conversation, particularly when there are good memories attached.
The Sycamore Winery wedding event had so many guests coming up and telling us this wedding surpassed all the other ones they’d attended in terms of entertainment and fun. Sunny and Adam absolutely LOVED having us at their celebration. After being wedding dueling pianists for some time, occasionally you get to see a guest more than once. This time, a father of a groom from a wedding we played in Indiana last year came right up to us. He recognized us from his son’s wedding and told us how EXCITED he was to get to see us play again. SO COOL!! Furthermore, this was a wild and crazy crowd that loved requesting non-traditional dance music. System of a Down’s Toxicity had EVERYONE singing on a PACKED dance floor. Not an everyday request but man what a turnout!
