Felix and Fingers recently played for this Smith’s Central Garage Awards Presentation for Snap-On Tools. What a great and fun group of people. Snap-On is the number one manufacturer of mechanic’s tools so we thought it was very appropriate to host this event at Smith’s Central Garage.

April Snowfall and Boy Band Fun
It was April 13 and yes, we had quite a snowfall. You just never know in this area. At least it was warm enough so the snow melted the very next day but it sure made for a messy load in and out. We’re used to that though and did just fine. Snap-On did an excellent job with their awards ceremony. In fact, it was almost as entertaining as our show. Almost. One man seemed to be the topic of many jokes and everyone went nuts when he came up on stage and performed a Backstreet Boys song to our accompaniment. He even dressed the part and it was a riot.
Not only did we have a performance of the Backstreet Boys, we also had people wanting to sing Johnny Cash and Jimmy Buffet, among others. Hey, if you want to sing, we have no problem being your back up! It was a ton of fun. Sir Mix a Lot’s Baby Got Back showed us some wild dance moves and Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’ had everyone singing at the top of their lungs. It was such a fun night that not only did our audience not want us to leave, we didn’t either.
