Felix and Fingers was off to the great state of Texas to play for the Bernhardt Winery Public Event. We love public events as the audiences are usually pretty relaxed and ready to have a great time. No wedding or pre-event jitters for the host and/or hostess gives these shows an easy going and fun vibe.
Bernhardt Winery Public Event
You can find this fun venue in the rolling hills of Plantersville, Texas, just a short ride northwest of Houston. It’s a beautiful winery and just perfect for so many different types of events. We were there for a public event but with all of the weddings we do, we know it would be a gorgeous wedding venue. The Bernhardt Winery books some really good acts and we were honored to be a part of that. Just about every week they have performances for you to enjoy, perhaps while sipping a glass of their delicious wines. It is also a bed and breakfast with lovely guest rooms above the winery. Music, Wines, and Kick Lines
With all of the wine flowing at the Bernhardt Winery Public Event, this group was more than ready for our show. We knew right away they were going to be an awesome audience as we had no trouble getting them involved and participating. Our special dueling piano version of Billy Joel’s Piano Man rocked their socks off. The owners were a total blast. In fact, when we played Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York, the wife and a group of other ladies made a kick line that was pretty fantastic. What a great group. One of our most favorite audience members was of the four legged type. They had a dog named Jonesy that watched every minute of our show. We think he would have started singing along if he could have he was that much into it. All in all, it ended up being one of our performer’s most favorite gigs. Heather, along with her partner Dan, can’t wait to return.
