The Epiphany Farms Restaurant Wedding came from a referral.  The bride had seen us at a previous wedding and had so much fun she just had to have us play for her big day.  The happy couple, Emily and Benjamin, chose an excellent venue too.  Felix and Fingers had a great time at your wedding in Bloomington, Illinois.

Epiphany Farms Restaurant Wedding

Epiphany Farms Restaurant Wedding bar areaDon’t pass by the Epiphany Farms Restaurant if you’re in the Bloomington area.  It’s a great venue.  This vintage building is on the historic registry and we can see why.  One problem though; it is so old there was no elevator to bring our equipment up to the second floor!  But we handled it as we always do.  It’s not the first time and it won’t be the last.  Epiphany Farms take great pride in the quality of their farm to table fare.  The appetizers were amazing–especially the pork sticky buns with a dab of siracha.  Wow!  It was a family style dinner service and the servers introduced each course to the table.  We kept thinking it couldn’t get any better but it did.  Even the hot chocolate bar that was available throughout the night was phenomenal and had homemade marshmallows.  Click here to go to this restaurant’s website.  It is just divine.

Great Party Crowd

Epiphany Farms Restaurant Wedding partyThe guests at the Epiphany Farms Restaurant wedding made for a great dance crowd.  It didn’t matter what song we played; they were ready to party.  And the cowbell competition was hilarious.  They did some dance moves during this that we have never seen before.  The wounded antelope portion had everyone practically in tears with laughter.  It was hands down the best wounded antelope of all time.  The requests kept coming in all night.  We played all kinds of tunes like Ariana Grande’s Next and Drake’s Take Care.  Hey, YOLO!  We also went back in time for Return to Sender by the one and only, Elvis Presley.  In conclusion, it was a great night and we’re sure Emily and Benjamin had the wedding of their dreams.
