Our performers for the Kankakee Country Club wedding were Nicky and Greg. We truly appreciated the help in setting up our pianos for the show. In fact, friendly staff at Kankakee Country Club go out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of. Since this was an indoor/outdoor event, Felix and Fingers used their wireless speaker system. Not only did the bride and groom have a large tent set up outside, Nicky and Greg were able to transmit their show outdoors during cocktail hour. Moondance by Van Morrison could be heard throughout the event with the help of our wireless system and the crowd loved it.
Go Cubs Go!
What made the Kankakee Country Club wedding even more successful was amazing cuisine. To begin with, guests enjoyed an outstanding meal. For example, the chicken breast and filet mignon duet entree was incredible. Above all, the dessert table focused on a stunning 3 tier wedding cake that tasted heavenly!
The bride and groom participated in a video competition by Felix and Fingers earlier in the year. They were indeed aware of our fun and interactive dueling piano show. No sooner was dinner over the dance floor was packed and guests were singing at the tops of their lungs. More importantly, Michael and Kimberly were HUGE Cubs fans. Because of this, Nicky and Greg made sure to play Go Cubs Go. The crowd went wild! For about the last 4 songs, Nicky and Greg didn’t have to sing one word. This fun and crazy crowd sang every word to songs like Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond and Don’t Stop Believin by Journey. Everyone had a great time!
