Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel and Convention Center is always a great place to host an event. Felix and Fingers was recently at this venue for the Evergreen FS, Inc. company outing, and we had a blast. The staff made sure everything went without a hitch, and the guests sang the night away.
Bloomington-Normal Marriott Events
The Bloomington-Normal Marriott is a great place to host all kinds of events in the Central Illinois area. Evergreen FS, Inc. took advantage of the fantastic space to host their company outing. To celebrate their employees’ hard work they rented out a ballroom for dinner and music. As guests arrived, they were greeted by friendly staff and a delicious smelling buffet. Guests could choose from juicy brisket or tender chicken as well as from a wide variety of sides. In addition, guests got to complete their meal with a decadent key lime pie.
Sing-Alongs & Comedy
To begin, we played softer tunes, welcoming guests as they arrived and sat down to dinner. Then, as guests were finishing up dessert, we turned up the volume on the party. Requests started coming in and people loved singing along. And while most of the guests were conservative when it came to dancing, it didn’t stop anyone from enjoying the night. Furthermore, we played a few comedy bits, and someone even requested Take This Job And Shove It by Johnny Paycheck. This is always a hilarious one to play at corporate events and all the bosses went along for the ride.
