Our client Katie Cornet of Ratchet and Wrench called us asking if we would like to perform at their networking conference party. Our first answer…we would LOVE to! Katie let us know this event would be held at The Carlisle in Lombard, Illinois. She further informed us this was a closing party for a 3 day conference. Ratchet and Wrench were notably bringing guests in from all over the country for this huge event. The Carlisle proved to be the ideal venue for this networking conference party. As a matter of fact, this banquet facility has 3 decades of experience in a variety of special occasions. Hence, this banquet facility sets the standard with an exceptional culinary menu. Dinner Drinks and Networking Fun
We were amused watching a large crowd wearing light up necklaces with their sponsor names mingle in the ballroom. During cocktail hour Duncan and Robert briefly DJ’d a great set of songs such as Sway by Michael Buble and Don’t Know Why by Norah Jones. The Carlisle’s smiling and professional staff had the ballroom under control.
3 words…Baked Potato Bar. Mouthwatering goodness! In addition to the baked potato bar, a smorgasbord of everyone’s favorite snack foods were provided. From gyro stations to hot wings and even a deep dish pizza station, there was no shortage of greasy goodness into the night. During dinner Duncan and Robert played a wonderful instrumental set allowing guests to enjoy their meal.
As most of our shows go, The Carlisle Corporate Event started out with guests sitting and watching us perform. Some guests sang along and others came up to our pianos filling our tip jars with song requests. However, it wasn’t much longer after dessert The Carlisle Corporate Event turned into a huge dance party! Remember our contact person Katie Cornet? She came up on our stage and sang a killer version of I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor! What indeed made our show pop even more is that we had a drummer on the gig. That is to say, anytime you can upgrade to a drummer addition, it makes the show a lot more fun!
