Our performers for the Hotel Julien Wedding were Duncan Parker and Greg Percifield. As soon as guests began their seating, Duncan started playing classical music. Dinner was casual, for example burgers and brats were a hit with all the guests. With this in mind, it was great to see a sweet table with more than a beautiful wedding cake displayed. An abundance of delicious cupcakes were presented in various flavors.
A Hopping Hotel Julien Wedding
In addition to sophisticated decoration, professional staff quickly flipped the grand ballroom after the Hotel Julien wedding ceremony. Moreover, the grand ballroom boasts amazing automatic floor to ceiling drapes. Hence, when evening rolled around, the ambiance of the grand ballroom was magical with lighting. By the time dinner ended, guests were ready to head out to the dance floor and have some fun.
Felix and Fingers had everyone stoked by starting out with a small medley by Garth Brooks. And just in case you didn’t know, one of our favorite dances is the Anniversary Dance. The Anniversary Dance never fails to go over well, it’s super cute and meaningful. In this case, the winning couple of the dance had been married for 55 years! In addition to a giant crowd hovering around Duncan, Greg overhead guests informing Duncan of how much they enjoyed his singing. Although this may be true, Greg joked with Duncan at the end of the evening that he was in fact a better singer. Whenever we play Cotton Eyed Joe by the Rednex there is a great response from the crowd. This crowd went particularly nuts, Felix and Fingers guess Iowans haven’t gotten over that one yet!
