Felix and Fingers held a fabulous Teddy Bear Fundraiser at the Rivoli Theater. This fundraiser was for the Teddy Bear Child Development Center and Preschool. This was Felix and Fingers 4th year back and 5th show at the Rivoli Theater. Teddy Bear Fundraiser Silent Auction
Felix and Fingers put the “Fun” in FUNdraiser! These guys know how to raise money for special occasions. Do you love small, Midwestern towns? Then the Rivoli Theater in Monmouth, Illinois is the next place for your event. Here, a charming, brick front, vintage theater awaits your rental. Much to their delight, guests enjoyed browsing over 100 silent auction items at the Teddy Bear Fundraiser. Tonight’s amazing performers were Mike Sherman and Mike Potts. Felix and Fingers could not have been more excited returning for the 4th year in a row! To start out the evening, everyone enjoyed a fabulous dinner. Felix and Fingers helped with the live auction (which included a lot of cupcakes!).
Giving Back to the Community
Felix and Fingers did a fantastic job of raising a large amount of funds for the Teddy Bear Child Development Center and Preschool. $1,907.00 in tips were raised at last years performance. This year they aimed for $2,108.00 and in the end surpassed that number by a grand total of $2,145.00. Mike and Mike enjoyed donating every dollar back! Mike Potts sometimes bids on silent auction items, this year he won 4 items! A whopping $1,900 in donations were brought in by our performers last year. Well guess what? Felix and Fingers increased that amount to $2,200 this year!
Making sure the crowd was having a great time, Felix and Fingers tried out a new interactive game. They had guests enjoying popular dance moves like the Daab, Moonwalk and the Robot. At one point of the evening Felix and Fingers had all the guys performing The Worm on stage in front of everyone. This fun crowd did not want Felix and Fingers to end their show. To the guests delight, Felix and Fingers played a few more songs for an extra 30 minutes. Macarena, Uptown Funk and Electric Boogie had everyone up on the stage showing off their dance moves!
