Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos excitedly made their way to another Hudson House Grand Hotel Event. This hotel sits near the border of Wisconsin and Minnesota and is located in Hudson, Wisconsin. Hudson House Grand Hotel Event
This hotel has a beautiful event room that is nicely decorated and great for all sorts of events. The staff was helpful and efficient as well throughout the entire night. Additionally, as we mentioned before we played a gig here last year. Many guests recognized us from the previous year and we enjoyed seeing familiar faces and talking to guests that we had already met. This group of people for this event consisted of “builders” from multiple, different companies all coming together for legislation work.
We have to mention that before we arrived there was about a foot of snow, but the staff had already shoveled a pathway for us to unload our gear. We were so thankful to have a great start before even entering the venue. To start off the event, we began with a memorable pledge of allegiance. That takes us back to when we still attended school. Then, they proceeded to announce my name, Duncan, as “Dookane” which was completely hilarious and all in good fun!
Dance to the Music
As for the music, we took requests and played a variety of music. We sang everything from “Sounds of Silence” to “Look What You Made Me Do”. The crowd had energy through the whole night and we had a blast. At the end of the night, we DJed for a bit and played some Lil Jon. Guests really got into it and it was fun to watch. To top it all off, they gave out party favors with candy, including several dove chocolates, our favorites. Overall we had a successful night!
