Jameson’s Charhouse is a classy restaurant and venue to host a variety of events and has multiple locations. Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos had the opportunity to perform for a corporate holiday party for the Huntley, Illinois at this particular Jameson’s Charhouse Event and had a great time. Jameson’s Charhouse Event
We began the evening by DJing some tunes for guests as they came in and mingled with each other. After a delicious meal from Jameson’s, we transitioned into playing live holiday music. During this holiday party, the company also had a gift exchange. Similar to a white elephant style but with actual gifts, they traded and stole gifts from each other which made it a pretty exciting gift exchange. And of course, no holiday is truly complete with Santa Claus, right? At one point during the party, Santa Claus burst through the door and Sam started playing “Here Comes Santa” and the crowd loved it. They really nailed the holiday spirit and cheer in all of the events and we came through with the music.
Music and Games
As much as we love holiday music, we eventually transitioned to regular live music. This group at the Jameson’s Charhouse event loved country music and lost it when we played “Friends in Low Places”. The energy in the room was great and even though the group was smaller it didn’t feel that way with their singing and dancing. For example, when we played “Piano Man”, guests gathered around the piano in a circle and sang as loud as a group twice their size! Finally, to top it all off we had blast playing our “L O V E” letter game with this group. Dr. J, the boss for this company, and his partner had fellow employees rolling in their seats with their version of the V. To wrap everything up, we DJed songs as guests started to call it a night. Everyone left with a smile on their face!
