Felix and Fingers recently dueled at an Itasca Chamber of Commerce event. It was held at the Itasca Country Club, a stunning venue filled with welcoming and outstanding staff (to learn more about this venue, please visit their website). This event raised money for Itasca’s Chamber of Commerce, and all money went towards furthering the Commerce’s goals for their community and all businesses involved. Itasca Chamber of Commerce Event
Home to both a traditional 18 hole golf course as well as an 18 hole miniature putting course, the Itasca Country Club takes the prize for most extravagant venue we have played at this year. The luscious sloping grounds also house a top of the line competition swimming pool, brand new tennis courts, The Fox & Turtle Pub, an ice rink and a family game room. With so much to do, this venue was perfect for the Itasca Chamber of Commerce fundraiser. Throughout the evening the staff continually asked hosts and guests if there was anything more they could do. Between the fabulous setting and superb service, this event was extraordinary.
Good Food and Classic Rock
After all guests arrived, dinner was served buffet style. The staff ensured each station had enough food for everyone, especially the crowd favorite: stir fry. At each place setting the hosts put sugar cookies frosted with music notes in honor of us. We were so impressed!
After the fundraiser, we began our set. Throughout the night we had many requests for classic rock songs. Guests danced the entire night and cheered every time we put one of their requests into our cycle. We were given many tips and to thank the hosts for such a fun experience, we donated everything back to the fundraiser. It was a successful night all around!
