Aria in Minneapolis has got to be one of my all time favorite wedding venues. This was an event space like none other and our dueling pianos show was ready to deliver a wedding to remember!

Exposed Brick creating Exposed Rooms!
I’ve been to a lot of venues and said a lot of nice things about almost all of them, but this is a bit different. Every few months I walk into a venue that is just stunning…and that was Aria in Minneapolis. The Urban Chic feel of this space is unmatched. Saying there was exposed brick is an understatement. There were exposed rooms!
I’m unfortunately not aware of the history of Aria, but I’m guessing this was an old factory turned event venue, and the truth is, it’s impossible to create this type of character any other way.
Aria hosted the Ceremony through reception. Whereas the ceremony took place in an equally beautiful side room, people moved into the main hall for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. The venue is perfect for hosting full weddings, and it’s always a nice plus when your guests don’t have to travel between venues.

Dueling Pianos Reception
This was a fun reception, but we knew that from just watching people play bags during cocktails. After an amazing array of food stations and drink options, the bride and groom took their positions for the first dance. After that, the party had officially started.
The dance floor was surrounded by tables, along with couches for people to relax at. Renting lounge furniture is often a great way to class up the look of an event. When everyone is expecting circular tables and an endless sea of chairs, having an inviting couch area definitely helps to make the party less formal. Definitely a great trick in wedding decór.
The party went on till about 11pm before the Bride and Groom took off for a Mexican Honeymoon. Dueling Pianos worked its magic and we even got to include a “shoe game” for the happy couple.

There are a ton of great venues in the Minneapolis/St Paul MN area. We’ve played many of them. But Aria is definitely a “statement” venue. In a world where every couple searches for that special touch to make their wedding unique, the Aria delivers on that and more.
