Getting to help organizations raise money for important causes is one of the many perks of our job. Recently, we headed to Valparaiso Indiana to help Ivy Tech raise some serious money to help them stay on the cusp of technology as they provide state of the art interactive learning environments for their students. People came to this event from all over, ready to donate and, maybe even more importantly, ready to party! Aberdeen Manor, a gorgeous venue in Northwest Indiana, was the perfect location for this event!

Ivy Tech has several satellite locations throughout Indiana, all specializing in associate’s degrees in a variety of vocations, largely centered around the health and nursing industry. Perhaps what they’re known best for, however, is their hands on approach to education, providing simulated, immersive environments to help their students gain hands-on experience in their particular fields. This technology certainly comes with a cost, and we were more than happy to help this great institution raise some money to offset the enormous price tag. From an amazing silent auction (one of the prizes was box seats to a Blackhawks playoff game!!) to board members and officials leading the crowd in rousing renditions of classic songs, this was definitely a night to remember! It was a blast to party with Aberdeen Manor, especially when all funds raised were helping out such a worthy cause!

This was our second time playing at Aberdeen Manor, and we’re so happy we returned. The venue is beautiful, the food is delicious, and perhaps most importantly, the staff is INCREDIBLE. These guys truly go above and beyond to make sure that every aspect of your event is exactly to your liking. I cannot recommend them enough. From weddings to private parties and fundraiser, this beautiful space is both distinctive enough to make your evening special, while still being flexible enough to accommodate a variety of amazing events. Be sure to check them out if you’re in the area!
